Cyberpunked 2020: Fans go off on Cyberpunk 2077 after game is pulled by Sony

On Thursday, Sony made the decision to pull Cyberpunk 2077 from it’s stores (story HERE), following a week of complaints from players about the buggy performance of what was the most highly anticipated game of the year, that had been in development for ages, and was also delayed on multiple occasions.

The release was an event, with heavy marketing featuring Keeanu Reeves and a high profile online party.

Gamers online are losing their minds at the news. Calling the development “Cyperpunked 2020”..

There were a lot of “No Man’s Sky” references:

And there were also questions over priorities…

Many are calling this kinda of game pull/recall unprecedented. And the trends have not been kind with almost everything falling under a negative sentiment.

There have been some gamers also hailing Sony’s decision to issue refunds, while slamming Cyberpunk’s developers, Projekt Red, instead.

We’ll keep an eye on this for you.
