Great news for Orlando movie goers as Cineworld the parent company of Regal Theaters announced a phased reopening of it’s theaters to take place in April (story HERE).
Including two of it’s theaters right here in the Orlando area on April 2nd.
The reopenings announced include the Winter Park Regal Theaters in the Village. Since opening 20 years ago, it’s been the most popular location to see both blockbusters and indie films in the area.
And the Regal Waterford Lakes location, one of the premiere theaters serving essentially all of the UCF area and anchoring a major shopping center.
There hasn’t been reopening dates announced for the theaters below yet.
Regal Pointe Orlando, essentially a Cadillac theater in the tourism district that is also very popular.
And finally, Wekiva Riverwalk theaters in Apopka. An 8 screen childhood favorite of mine where I saw “Interview With A Vampire” and more modern classics like “The Hangover” and “American Gangster”.
Some of the bigger films will also have the courage to start premiering next month with Godzilla vs. King Kong, and Mortal Kombat, waiting for you in what will be a socially distanced and concession safe experience.
