Robin Williams has been gone for five years, this is still my favorite scene of his

Academy award winning actor and comedy icon, Robin Williams, died five years ago and his presence on the big screen has been missed.

If you’re like me, then you probably have a favorite Robin Williams film. While his comedies like Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji and The Bird Cage are all classics, I always appreciated his dramas.

My favorite Robin Williams scene comes from my favorite Robin Williams film, “Good Will Hunting”, the performance that won him his Oscar.

Playing the thoughtful psychiatrist who grieves for his deceased wife, he tries to help a troubled math prodigy played by Matt Damon. In this scene he’s describing how he missed the baseball game of a lifetime to meet the woman that brought him happiness for so many years.

If you’ve never seen “Good Will Hunting”, maybe you’re under 40 or it’s just evaded you over the years, do yourself and favor and give it a watch. It will make you feel good.

You can watch the scene I’m talking about below.
