Apple products and affordability have never been two terms that have seem to go together very easily. Ask anyone that has ever bought their products. But on Tuesday morning, the world was introduced to the Apple AirPods Max over the ear headphones. According to Apple these beauties offer..
a custom acoustic design, H1 chips, and advanced software to power computational audio for a breakthrough listening experience with Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio. AirPods Max come in five gorgeous colors, including space gray, silver, sky blue, green, and pink, and are available to order starting today, with availability beginning Tuesday, December 15.
For $549… (record scratch).
That price announcement was indeed a tough moment for a lot Apple lovers to wake up to. That’s more expensive than any Bose or Sony consumer options. Many noted that you could buy a Playtation 5 or an XBox Series X for that amount.
Anywho.. social media had their thoughts… and those thoughts were trending for most of the day.
