Nikola Vucevic, once again one of the few bright spots in an Orlando Magic season plagued by injuries and a lack of excitement, will take part in the NBA All Stars Skills Challenge, which will take place this weekend in Atlanta before the All Star game, which will air on TNT.
Our hometown hero joins an exciting field including Luka Doncic, Chris Paul, Robert Covington, Julius Randle and Domantas Sabonis. Vucevic is also on the Eastern All Stars roster.
The All Star format has been altered for this year because of the pandemic. The skills competition, and three point competition will take place before the game, and the slam dunk contest will take place at halftime. This is instead of the All Star Saturday night festivities we normally have.
And the Orlando Magic are due for a win. Aaron Gordon should have two slam dunk championships by now, instead he’s been ripped off by the judges each time.
